Chris
Caffee, P.E., LEED AP
Principal
Mechanical Engineer
Chris’s
mechanical passion is modeling a system, designing it, and then
monitoring the performance of his designs for the next few years.
Chris believes that the true quality of a design cannot be determined
until the system has been in operation for a few years. Chris
is constantly seeking feedback from his clients to evaluate the
energy performance, system reliability and ease of maintenance
associated with his designs. He uses this information to the fullest
extent by immediately implementing improvements to our specifications
and system diagrams for use on the next project. Chris is a master
of computer modeling programs and Life Cycle Cost Analysis. He
uses the same design feedback information to adjust and fine tune
computer modeling programs so that they produce accurate results
from which important design decisions can be based. He has been
involved with the design and management of many of our larger
military, commercial, educational, and institutional projects
since 1996. Chris is certified by the Washington Association of
Building Officials as a Basic Plans Examiner for the Washington
State Non-Residential Energy Code and is certified by the International
Conference of Building Officials as a Commercial Energy Plans
Examiner. Chris is also LEED ™ Accredited Professional.
