BCE Engineers, Inc. is a full-service mechanical, electrical and fire protection engineering consulting firm in Fife, Washington. Established in 1991, through a merger between Bitterling & Associates and Crick Evenson Engineers, the firm has prospered and grown to a position of leadership in the regional engineering community.

With a staff of 44 technical and support personnel, including professional engineers, we have sufficient resources to handle projects of considerable size, yet we are small enough to render our clients the highly personalized service they deserve.

BCE is committed to offering the finest, most responsive service possible in an effective, efficient manner. We believe that our clients and our employees are our two most important assets and that both are equally vital to the success of our company. Recognizing this we strive to:

  • Offer our clients a highly personalized, technically superior service - provided in a client/consultant team atmosphere.
  • Find, hire and train the best professional talent available, and retain such individuals through the providing of ample challenges and opportunities for growth and advancement.

BCE is dedicated to quality engineering. Strong commitments to responsible innovation have allowed our business to grow and prosper. We promote creativity and support new thinking to the benefit of our projects and the professional development of our staff.

BCE Engineers is proud to play an active role in our community. In partnership with other organizations in the community, we are helping to meet the needs of those less fortunate in our community at large.

BCE Annual Golf Tournament
For the last fourteen years, BCE has sponsored an annual golf tournament for employees, clients, vendors, and business associates. All proceeds from each tournament are matched by BCE and donated to the Pierce County YMCA Partners for Youth. In the last two years, we have also included the American Cancer Society in our donation.

American Cancer Society Relay for Life
Employees, friends, and family members participate in the annual Tacoma, “Relay for Life” walk at Tahoma High School in memory of our friend and Principal of BCE Engineers Stacey Young.
