Clover Park Technical College - Health Sciences Building
The $19.4M Health Science Building houses classrooms and labs for CPTC's rapidly growing healthcare programs, including Nursing, Hemodialysis, Health Unit Coordinator, Histology Technician, Material Management/CS, Surgical Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Lab Technician, Medical Office Specialist, and Pharmacy Technician. This state-of-the-art facility is 56,500 square feet on two levels and has a capacity for 1,153 students. The facility also provides space for new programs, including Speech Therapy Assistant and Pediatric Counseling, as well as Integrated Science Labs for Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology. This project is certified LEED Silver. Special systems include a 17kW photovoltaic system, cost effective LED lighting in classrooms, camera systems for recording and presenting student procedures, and recording equipment for web-based classes.
