BCE provided electrical and mechanical engineering services for a new 70,000 SF Student Services building to meet the needs of the growing college and house numerous support programs.  The new building will centralize all student administrative programs and add instructional space for the Culinary Arts Program. The mechanical system will consist of distributed water source heat pumps tied to a geothermal borefield. The HVAC system will include dedicated outdoor air units (DOAU) with energy recovery. These units will recover waste heat from the building and use it to pre-temper the ventilation air served to each space. The project is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2023.
