Special consideration was taken for this $9M, two-story, 53,900 square foot elementary school due to the harsh environment and strong winds. The electrical services include complete interior and exterior lighting that is designed to withstand 120mph winds. Mechanical design incorporated the requirements that all of the mechanical equipment be indoors with special louver systems for ventilation. Special CO2 sensors are incorporated into the designs to control outside air quantities in the large assembly areas.
