Pacific Plaza
Pacific Plaza is located in downtown Tacoma. This project involved creating an urban park for the increasing population of visitors and business people in the downtown area. The park covers 2.9 acres and cost $6M. BCE provided electrical design services and coordinated with Tacoma Power to support the architectural design of the park. Designs included power for vendor use during street fairs and outdoor performances. Power was also provided to support a cascading water feature. The landscape lighting consists of in-ground metal halide fixtures. Also provided were Bollard style walkway lighting and LED steplights. Roadway lighting was designed to match the existing historic style fixtures along Pacific Avenue.
