The Pierce County ECMF is a 21,000 square foot road shop for Pierce County Road Operations. This $3.4M satellite facility enables Pierce County to greatly improve response times and better serve the citizens of the east county area. The mechanical system for the office space consisted of a split system heat pump with a unique system developed by BCE that redirects the air afterhours through an underground duct system that exits at the base of the lockers to provide nighttime boot drying. Electrical designs included site and interior lighting and an emergency generator that supports the entire building. The site has card reader access and is CCTV ready.
