This was a $17.7M design-build project on the Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) campus. The facility houses the SFAC, which is a mental health treatment facility for soldiers and their families. The building also provides administrative office space, a command operations center, and support space for a large battalion and four companies. 

The facility was designed to achieve LEED Platinum and to meet the NET ZERO requirements for energy usage, but budgetary constraints resulted in the removal of a portion of the photovoltaic system. However, thanks to the remaining 60kW photovoltaic system and the project's other sustainable design elements, including an HVAC system designed to exceed ASHRAE 90.1 energy efficiency standards by 48%, the facility achieved LEED Gold certification. The project was also awarded a 2013 Design Excellence Gold Award by the Seattle-Tacoma Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
